LODI, Calif. -- PayStar Communications Corporation (OTCBB:PYST) has partnered with brandATM, a Los Angeles-based out-of-home digital display company to promoted the marketing of advertising on full motion video screens, which will be installed on PayStar cashless ATM kiosks.
The installations will occur in phases and will begin with the installation of 100 video screens in Southern California commencing May 2001, according to a PayStar release. The second phase will see additional California locations in early summer of 2001, with the final phase involving the ongoing installation of video screens nationally at PayStar's cashless ATM locations.
"This partnership is very significant because it provides a new source of revenue from current cashless ATM merchant locations," said William D. Yotty, CEO of PayStar, adding, "We are able to substantially increase revenue without incurring significant expenses to PayStar."
