ANAHEIM, Calif. -- NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) has certified eFunds' CONNEX EFT transaction processing software (Nasdaq: EFDS) to support cash acceptance and check deposit functions using NCR's APTRA™ software.
The new technology enables ATM users to deposit cash or checks without envelopes, increasing customer convenience and decreasing processing costs incurred by the financial institution.

According to Andy Orent, NCR vice president of global sales and services, eFunds can provide the advanced deposit technology as an in-house solution on CONNEX or as a data center solution.
