LEAWOOD, Kan. -- Euronet Worldwide (Nasdaq:EEFT - news), has been recognized as the second-fastest-growing technology company in Kansas/Western Missouri by Deloitte & Touche.
The "Technology Fast 50' Program acknowledges companies that have an outstanding growth from 1996 to 2000. Euronet Worldwide's five-year revenue growth for the period was 4,082 percent.
Euronet Worldwide won the top honor in the region last year and proceeded to the national level, being named the second-fastest-growing company in North America in the Deloitte & Touche "Technology Fast 500.'

The "Technology Fast 50' is a recognition program that honors the region's fastest-growing high-tech companies that develop and/or provide technology-based products and services. To qualify for the Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1996 and $1 million in 2000, and must be public or private companies headquartered in the Kansas and Western Missouri region.
