Bank of China and NCR seal $13 million deal

LONDON - NCR Corp. will provide $13 million in equipment throughout China for the Bank of China, according to an NCR release.

NCR said the purchase involves its Personas 74, Personas 75, Personas 84 and Personas 86 Self-Service TouchPoints ATMs. The machines will offer services such as passbook printing, account inquiries and bill payment, in addition to cash dispensing.

It is the second major contract with the Bank of China. The two companies completed a $14 million deal last November.

NCR operates a production facility in China and said it is raising its capacity to complete the Bank of China project and to meet increased demand in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region.
