PHILADELPHIA – A hearing on Credit Card Center's motion to use cash collateral to pay employee wages owed before its June 6 filing for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 is scheduled to take place today in Pennsylvania's Eastern District Bankruptcy Court.
According to the court docket, a hearing on the request was originally scheduled for June 15. CCC was ordered to fax a copy of its request to all secured creditors, the 20 largest unsecured creditors, all leasing companies, all landlords, the Pennsylvania state taxing authorities, the IRS and the U.S. Trustee, among others. The hearing was then continued two more times before being moved to July 6.
According to the court docket, "any objections, answers or other responsive pleadings to this motion shall be filed with the clerk on or before July 5."
July 6 is also the deadline for CCC to submit its complete financial schedules and statements, as required by the court. CCC's attorney, Aris Karalis of the Philadelphia firm Ciardi, Maschmeyer and Karalis, on June 20 had filed a motion for an extension to extend the original June 21 deadline.
Creditors listed on the docket include: ATM manufacturers NCR Corp. and Tidel Engineering, the MAC network,Tokyo Leasing (USA), Carlton Financial Corporation, Fleet National Bank, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Information Leasing Corporation, Advanta National Bank, Skilcraft Sheetmetal, Core Data Resources, Money Access Service, Sooner Stop & Shop, United Financial Services Group, De La Rue and Cook Inlet Region.
