CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Greenland Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: GLCP) has signed an exclusive manufacturing and assembly agreement with Southern California-based California Chassis, Inc., a division of Arroyo Holdings, Inc., which includes Econolite Control Products, Inc., to build Greenland's interactive MAXcash Automated Banking Machine (ABM) kiosks, which include check cashing functionality.
T. A. "Kip" Hyde, Jr., president and chief executive officer of Greenland, said the company sees demand for the kiosks, "especially among businesses that already provide check cashing services to their own customers, for example independent check cashers, grocers, petroleum and convenience stores."
Noting that Chassis has manufactured the cabinet and safe components for Greenland for a number of years, Hyde said, "Because of our long standing component development and manufacturing relationship, we are sure that CalChassis' facilities and depth of expertise will greatly support our MAXcash sales efforts."
Greenland also recently announced an agreement with Trilicom Data Solutions for kiosk software development and systems integration services.
Hyde said the agreement with CalChassis will allow Greenland to pursue sales of the MAXcash kiosks while the company rebuilds its host and back-office transaction support infrastructure with Mosaic Software.
