PHILADELPHIA -- Credit Card Center, the financially strapped Philadelphia-based ISO, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the eastern district of Pennsylvania on June 6.
CCC, which filed under its corporate name of JRA 222 Inc., is represented by attorney Maureen P. Steady of Ciardi Maschmeyer Karalis, a Philadelphia firm.
According to a court clerk, CCC submitted only the initial two pages of its request. The remainder of the application, including relevant financial records, or a request for an extension must be submitted within 15 days of the filing date.
Several parties have filed civil complaints against CCC in Philadelphia's Court of Common Pleas, including ATM manufacturer Tidel Engineering and Fox, Rothschild O'Brien and Frankel, the Philadelphia law firm that until recently represented CCC.
