HOUSTON -- Momentum Cash Systems has completed its acquisition of the ATM assets of Global Management Systems, another Houston-based ISO. The acquisition will add approximately 90 ATMs to Momentum's 3,000-machine network.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
Bob Cannon, president of Momentum Cash, said, "Global has been a friendly competitor of ours for the last five years, and their management has decided to exit the ATM business. We were lucky to have been chosen as the company to take over their terminals. We are positioned to service the customers in a very efficient manner and will offer the merchants the best customer service in the business."
Jackie Spurling, president of Global Management Systems, added, "We wanted to make sure our merchant customers would be well taken of after our exit. Momentum Cash will certainly do that."
An ISO for over eight years, Momentum Cash has sold or placed more than 3,000 ATMs in 25 states. Momentum Cash has an in-house service organization stretching from Phoenix to Tampa and as far north as Denver.
