ETAdvantage currently handles some 2,800 machines in Washington and three other states. With the addition of 600 contracts for ATMs being serviced by TransAlliance, ETAdvantage's network will grow to nearly 3,400 machines.
Pat Scott, ETAdvantage's president and CEO, said the transaction "represents an important and logical milestone in the expansion of our business."
James D. Benson, president and CEO of Bellevue, Wash.-based TransAlliance, said, "Our core business today is the processing of debit and ATM transaction activity for our clients. ATM servicing is better handled by specialists in servicing and we are pleased to transfer this work to a capable, growing organization like ETAdvantage."
The transition will take approximately two to three months to complete.
Financial terms of the sale were not announced.
Based in Auburn, ETAdvantage currently operates in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana and northern California.
