JACKSON, Miss. -- Independent ATM provider Financial Technologies was tapped by Inc. magazine as one of the 500 fastest-growing companies in the U.S. in its annual Inc. 500 ranking.
Financial Technologies, ranked 23rd on Inc.'s list, offers ATM hardware, transaction processing, data management, maintenance and support services. The company has experienced an annual growth rate of over 100 percent and an overall sales growth of 4,751 percent since its inception in 1995.
"The growth rate we have experienced over the past few years has been the product of our people taking advantage of the market opportunity and following that up with an attitude of doing whatever is necessary to obtain and retain customers," said Financial Technologies President Tommy Glenn. "We believe the outlook for our company and our industry is strong and have plans for continuing our growth rate through both organic growth and acquisitions."
This is the 19th year for Inc.'s list. To be eligible, companies must be independent and privately held through 1999, have at least $200,000 in sales in the base year, and their 1999 sales must have exceeded their 1998 sales. The ranking is based on percentage increase in sales from 1995 to 1999. Inc. verifies all information by using tax forms and financial statements from certified public accountants and conducting interviews with company officials.
