TORONTO -- e-Smart Direct Services Inc. has implemented its e-Smart Processing Suite, a proprietary software solution for switching ATM transactions, for Cash N Go Ltd. in Edmonton, Alberta.
Cash N Go now processes transactions from their ATM network through e-Smart Direct Services, a direct member of the national Interac network and a member of Cirrus and Cirrus International.
In conjunction with this milestone, Cash N Go has formed a separate operating division -- Electronic Merchant Systems -- to process transactions for third parties, such as other ISOs.
"We purchased the switch to control our own destiny," said Ken Nichols, president of Cash N Go Ltd. "From the experience we have gained through our own ATM business, we have custom designed certain components of the switch and reporting features to better address the needs of our customers."
