HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -- The ATM Industry Association's North American Board of Directors elected three members to the association's International Board of Directors at this week's "ATMs Hit the Big Screen" show in Hollywood, Fla.

The members, Mike Clinard, Chris Klein and Bruce Kreeger, will represent the North American Board on the International Board, which includes a representative from each of ATMIA's global sponsors and three board members each from Europe, North America and Australasia, the ATMIA's newest chapter.

Mike Lee, the association's international director, said that the International Board will give the association a better established structure and more accountability to its members.

"Each regional board advises regional chapters on regional issues. The international guys will help us determine the association's worldwide strategy and policies. The industry elects these representatives to run its association," Lee said.

The first North American Board meeting was held in October 2001 in Las Vegas. Lee said board members were not elected at that meeting so that members could "get to know each other better" before choosing their representatives.

Clinard is chief operating officer of Houston-based ISO Cardtronics, Klein is executive vice president of marketing for Deerfield Beach, Fla.-based software developer Mosaic Software, and Kreeger is president and chief executive officer of Mine Hill, N.J.-based ISO ATM Center.

ATMIA's global sponsors are ATMmarketplace.com, De La Rue, NCR, Papelaco, Tranax and Triton.

The ATMIA's lineup of upcoming shows is: "ATM Sec 2002" in Manchester, UK on April 17-18; "Pacific ATMs 2002" in Sydney, Australia May 27-29; "Optimising European ATMs 2002" in Budapest, Hungary; and "ATMIA Conference 2002 West" in San Diego in the fall of 2002.

The Hollywood show was attended by 400-plus members of the industry, with about three dozen companies exhibiting their wares.
