HOUSTON -- Tidel Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATMS) will begin trading on the Nasdaq National Market on Wednesday, Aug. 16.
The company, which began trading on the Nasdaq Small-Cap Market in 1989, filed its application for National Market listing earlier this year after satisfying the listing criteria. Its trading symbol will remain "ATMS."
James T. Rash, chairman and CEO, said, "We expect our shareholders will benefit from the increased visibility and liquidity of the National Market. In addition, the achievement of the new listing should assist the company in attracting additional analyst coverage and institutional support."
