HOUSTON -- Momentum Cash Systems has hired Gary Walston as vice president of Sales and Marketing. Walston will head up several new Momentum initiatives focused on the financial institution market.
Walston joins Momentum after a year-and-a-half with Dallas-based Mobile Express Capital Corporation, where he directed the company's marketing efforts with several programs providing enhanced services to credit unions. Walston was also founder and president of ATM Advertising Solutions, one of the first companies to pioneer the ATM advertising effort.

"With his extensive knowledge of the ATM and banking industry, he will make an immediate impact on the market."
The privately-held Momentum Cash Systems has more than 3,000 ATMs under ownership or management. Momentum remains one of the country's largest independent owners of ATMs, in addition to providing ATM sales, maintenance, processing and cash management services to clients in 26 states. Momentum's in-house staff of maintenance technicians covers a service area stretching from Phoenix to Tampa and as far north as Denver.
