ORLANDO, Fla. -- In October, Orlando will see in-store mini-branches of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce at a rate faster than one a week, according to an Orlando Sentinel article.
Using the name CIBC National Bank in the U.S., Canadian Imperial plans to open its first branch on Oct. 4 in a Winn-Dixie Marketplace store. The mini- branches will actually be kiosks designed to allow customers to either conduct business by telephone, computer, or ATM.
The kiosks will crop up each week and by Oct. 26 a fifth office will open.
After blazing through Orlando, Canadian Imperial plans to target Tampa with five banking kiosks.
