Triton has named Brian J. Kett, its former vice president of business development, senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. In his new role, Kett will be responsible for all sales, marketing and business development efforts for Triton worldwide. Kett helped Triton open and develop markets in Canada and Australia, and continues to drive Triton's expansion into Latin America and Europe. He also spearheaded a number of unique distributor programs, including in-house equipment leasing.
"Brian's results-oriented approach to developing innovative programs for distributors and customers and excellent track record of expansion into new markets is a major benefit to Triton," said Ernest Burdette, president and CEO of Triton. "He has been instrumental in Triton's successful worldwide growth and has driven Triton's major business development initiatives. In his new role, Brian will be an even more pivotal member of the Triton team."
Before joining Triton, Kett was vice president of Shell Canada's Unbranded Operations, where he was responsible for overall operations of three legal entities with combined sales of $800 million (Canadian) per year.
Kett previously spent more than a decade in senior management positions at Shell Canada, bringing to Triton significant expertise in the retail fuel and convenience store markets. "I look forward to continuing to identify new opportunities, build new relationships and create infrastructures," Kett said.
Triton also named John Saik as vice president of engineering. Saik joins Triton with more than 20 years of experience in engineering and operations management for manufacturing companies. Before joining Triton, Saik was vice president of engineering for Integrated Command Software, Inc. in Houston, where he was responsible for product engineering, quality assurance, field implementation and production manufacturing and materials management.
Previously, he was vice president and general manager for CMW, Inc., a $10 million engineering services company specializing in the design, construction, installation and on-site integration of factory automation systems. Saik said, "I look forward to developing the groundbreaking products that take advantage of new technology breakthroughs and ultimately to enabling retailers and financial institutions to deliver unprecedented services to their customers using Triton ATMs.
