OCEANSIDE, Calif. -- Greenland Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: GLCP) has obtained a temporary restraining order against Seren Systems in San Diego, Calif., court case GIC 755498, filed on Oct. 6.
According to Louis Montulli, CEO of Greenland Corporation, Greenland was granted the order against Hermosa Beach, Calif.-based Seren Systems on Oct. 11.
"As announced at the annual shareholders meeting, Greenland had filed relief against Seren Systems for the failure of Seren Systems to deliver source codes to software that Greenland had paid for," Montulli said. "This court action enjoins Seren Systems, its agents, employees, attorneys, servants or assigns from doing any act that injures or modifies software and related technology furnished to Seren by Greenland pursuant to the parties' written agreement or developed by Seren thereafter."
Per the restraining order, Seren Systems has halted work on the software and related technology pending a hearing on Nov. 3. Montulli said that hearing will address the request by Greenland to have all software released by Seren Systems to Greenland.
Pursuant to the written agreement with Seren Systems, Greenland also instituted an action against Seren Systems with the American Arbitration Association on Oct. 12.
