LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- NetWorld Alliance has launched a new Web site targeting leaders of Christian churches in America. ChurchCentral.com offers regular news, features and advice on church health issues, along with information on conferences, vendors, products and services.
ChurchCentral.com joins ATMmarketplace.com, KIOSKmarketplace.com, Kiosks.org and PizzaMarketplace.com in the NetWorld Alliance lineup of news and information portals targeting specific industries.
The site is the primary product of Church Central Associates, a new partnership between NetWorld and Dr. Thom Rainer, an expert on church health and leadership and the author of 13 books on the topic. Rainer, president of Church Central Associates, serves as Dean of the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism and Church Growth at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville.
"ChurchCentral.com will fill a niche in the world of church leadership by providing pastors, denominational executives and parachurch ministry leaders with valuable news and advice," Rainer said. "We expect the site's audience to grow rapidly."
In addition to operating the Web site, Church Central Associates will host conferences for church leaders and publish a monthly newsletter, the Rainer Report.
ChurchCentral.com will cover church health, leadership, Sunday school, worship and music ministry, finances, youth, small groups and research. Original and exclusive content are the cornerstones of the new site.
The idea for Church Central Associates began when Rainer and NetWorld president Tom Harper shared a vision to create a ministry resource that would focus on church health and leadership. The company began operations in January 2002.
