FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Genpass Inc. has appointed Peter B. Davidson, the former president of EFT consulting firm Speer & Associates, as president of Genpass Card Solutions, the newest Genpass Inc. business.
The Genpass Card Solutions group is charged with finding new markets and new debit card-based products for financial institution and corporate customers. It is expected to provide specialized card services such as payroll and medical benefits card programs.
Davidson has more than 30 years experience in the EFT and banking industries. At S&A, he managed consulting services that encompassed all phases of consumer e-commerce, including credit card issuing and acquiring, debit card issuing and acquiring, ATM/POS, card and ATM management.
In a news release, Davidson said that his new role at Genpass "is giving me the opportunity not just to provide the strategic framework and direction, but also to actually implement my ideas from the ground up."
Genpass owns the Moneymaker and Money Belt EFT networks through its Dallas-based subsidiary, Genpass Technologies. Genpass drives some 21,000 ATMs and processes approximately 360 million ATM transactions annually.
