SYDNEY -- Diebold has established a Managed Services unit within its Australia and New Zealand operations, which will offer vendor-independent ATM service and maintenance to financial and non-financial institutions.
According to a news release, Diebold's Managed Services unit allows the application of solutions to suit any ATM brand or manufacturer supported in the Australian and New Zealand markets. Diebold's global Managed Services clients include Bank of America, Jammu Kashmir Bank in India and Brazil's second largest bank, Caixa Economica Federal (CEF).
"Diebold's flexibility means that we can work with all types of organizations to suit individual business needs, whether this requires a single service or total outsource of a complete management," said Reg Bohler, managing director of Diebold Australia & New Zealand.
The launch of the Managed Services unit includes the introduction of four services:
Diebold Advisor, an ATM monitoring service that receives, analyzes and responds to status messages sent by an ATM; RemoteLink, which provides a way to remotely manage ATM screen advertising, electronic data capture (EDC) retrieval and coupon distribution, as well as advertising for third-party products and services; Cash Management, which tracks daily cash balances at the ATM and provides an "alarm" when cash is running low; and WebServer, an automated, Web-accessible reporting system for customers to obtain information and updates regarding the status of their Diebold services.
