NORWOOD, Mass. -- e-ClassicSystems, Inc., developer of ATM Manager Pro software, says that CashWorks transaction data files can now be imported into its software suite, offering CashWorks customers the ability to better analyze their check cashing transaction activity.
According to a news release, ATM Manager Pro's transaction import routine analyzes the CashWorks file and augments existing transaction information provided by the transaction processor. The file details the number of check cashing transactions and the fees associated with those transactions. Using ATM Manager Pro's profitability module, ATM deployers can calculate any merchant fees, CashWorks fees and/or sales commissions based on check cashing amounts and volumes.
According to Ron Moore, CashWorks CIO, back-office support of the CashWorks transaction file represents a natural progression for his company's program, which utilizes a proprietary point-of-sale countertop terminal to approve checks and an existing ATM to dispense the cash. "The first step in wide-spread acceptance of the CashWorks check cashing program is buy-in from ATM deployers, their merchants and the consumer. The deployers' next concern is automated record-keeping of the program necessary for profitable expansion of the program," Moore said.
Thomas F. Meurer, president of e-ClassicSystems said in the news release, "This is part of our continued commitment to support any transaction type our customers and the market see fit to deploy through ATMs or other self-service devices," noting that ATM Manager Pro also supports EBT transactions, stamp transactions and statement transactions. ATM Manager Pro also identifies them-on-us transactions for surcharge-free alliances as well as foreign cardholder transactions, Meurer said.
Doug Deitel, executive vice president of corporate services for Cardtronics, a Houston-based ISO which recently completed a pilot of the CashWorks program and is now expanding the initiative, said, "ATM Manager Pro is the backbone of our operations and the system continues to be ready to support new transaction types as we need them."
