MONTREAL -- Frisco Bay Industries Ltd. (NASDAQ : FBAY) says it has entered into an agreement with Gateway Casinos Inc. to install and operate ATMs in 10 Western Canada casinos.
According to a news release, these new installations are expected to generate approximately
1.5 million transactions yearly, a 15 percent increase to the 10.5 million transactions currently processed by the Frisco Bay ATM network annually.
Barry Katsof, Frisco Bay's chairman and chief executive officer, said in the release that the deal "serves to further strengthen Frisco Bay's position as the white label ATM supplier of choice to the gaming industry in Canada."
Frisco Bay is a provider of automated financial transaction and integrated security systems for financial institutions, government agencies and major industrial corporations. The company markets its products throughout Canada, the U.S. and Latin America.
