DALLAS -- Fujitsu Transaction Solutions says that its Series 8000 ATMs have been certified to operate on the Star Systems EFT network.

Maitland, Fla.-based Star processes more than 5.5 billion transactions a year through more
than one million participating ATMs and retail point-of-sale locations.

According to a news release, Fujitsu Series 8000 ATMs were tested for integration with Star's 912 platform. Certification assures that the Series 8000 offers instant functionality using a standard ATM emulation without affecting host systems on ATMs processed by Star.
