JOHNSTON, Iowa -- The Shazam network says that it has signed an endorsement agreement with the Bluegrass Bankers Association of Kentucky.
According to a news release, the agreement includes the endorsement of Shazam's ATM and debit card products and services, card authorization services, ATM/POS terminal support and processing services, merchant services, Visa and MasterCard national debit card program support services and gift card support services.
The Bluegrass Bankers Association, a member of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), serves community financial institutions throughout Kentucky.
"We intend to work with Shazam to increase Shazam's presence in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and to provide the resulting benefits to our members," said Bob Ross, Bluegrass Bankers Association executive director, in the release.
Shazam, which supports nearly 1,630 institutions in 29 different states, is endorsed by 12 industry trade organizations in the states of Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, and Missouri.
