NCR gets ATM maintenance contract with Turkey's YKB

LONDON -- NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR) says that it has signed a $6.7 million multiyear contract with Turkey's Yapi Kredi Bank (YKB) to provide hardware maintenance and support services for the bank's Personas ATMs.

According to a news release, YKB is one of the top four Turkish banks in terms of total assets and currently has more than 420 domestic branches and a network of 1,370 ATMs.

YKB has had a long-standing relationship with NCR both in terms of hardware and software and through the company's Channel Partner Program, whereby NCR has supported the bank's internal maintenance of its ATM network.

NCR was one of a number of companies to compete for the business when YKB decided to outsource the maintenance of its ATMs, according to the release.
