NEW ORLEANS -- Columbus Data Services (CDS), an EFT processor specializing in ISO ATM processing and vault cash services, has added a number of features to its redesigned Web site, including an on-line terminal setup process that allows ISOs to bring their terminals into production within an hour.
According to John Willmon, vice president of business development, the site's new user maintenance capabilities will allow ISOs to add affiliates, merchants, agents, cash providers and others and give them access to a particular set of terminals and transactions. The site also includes a full range of reporting features such as on-line real-time cash balance monitoring, transaction summary reports, merchant statements and a range of ACH reports. Finally, it includes real-time transaction lookup and terminal monitoring.
The site is the work of Willmon, who joined CDS in November. Willmon is one of the original developers of the TPS 2000 processing system and has consulted for several third-party processors. Along with CDS president Ron Schuldt, Willmon was one of the founders of RBSA, a third-party processor established in 1997. RBSA became EFT Logix and was acquired by Concord EFS last spring.
Willmon said he sought input from ISOs before designing the site. "I was able to include the necessary capabilities and expand upon some of their ideas. The ability to work with a clean slate and develop something entirely from scratch gave us the ability to improve upon the designs of the past and create an easy-to-use site with advanced capabilities," he said in a news release.
