MUMBAI, India -- India's Western Railway is introducing ATM services at 18 stations within a month, according to a report on expressindia.com.

Commuters will also be able to buy season railway tickets by presenting ATM cards of banks with ATMs installed at the stations, including UTI Bank, Punjab National Bank, Corporation Bank and ICICI Bank.

According to expressindia, the Railway will earn an annual rupees 1.38 crore (about $28,825 U.S.) in license fees and rent.

A total of 39 ATMs will be installed at the stations, most of them in suburban locations.
