NORTH CANTON, Ohio and DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. -- Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) and Mosaic Software say that Ft. Bliss Federal Credit Union (FCU), a $400 million financial organization with some 76,000 members in Texas and New Mexico, is the first Diebold installation to utilize Mosaic Software's Postilion transaction processing software.
Diebold entered into a reseller agreement last September to offer Mosaic's Postilion application as part of its total ATM solution approach. The agreement enables the manufacturer to license the Postilion product directly to customers in North America and provide a solution able to handle ATM driving, switching, network management, settlement and reconciliation. Using Postilion, financial institutions can run numerous types of terminals and transactions on the same software platform.
The new software provides Ft. Bliss FCU with expanded functionality at its 20 ATMs, such as delivering one-to-one member marketing, according to a news release.
Ft. Bliss FCU uses Harland Financial Solutions' ULTRADATA System for core processing.
The Diebold/Mosaic installation connects the Mosaic Postilion transaction processing functionality to the Harland Financial Solutions' ULTRADATA System's Online Card Services host processing engine for card management, real-time ATM/point-of-sale processing, member and general ledger account posting, fee processing, over drafting and settlement analysis.
"We realized that our ATMs needed to become a full-service delivery system and that each contact with the member needs to be a positive experience," said Karl Murphy, executive vice president of Administration at Fort Bliss FCU, in the release. "This solution provides a way for the credit union to move from a transaction focus to a one-to-one marketing focus with each member. It allows the credit union to incorporate its brand well beyond branch-based transactions while improving the reliability and uptime of our ATMs."
