NORTH CANTON, Ohio -- Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE:DBD) recently hosted its Fifth Annual International Partner Information Xchange (PIX) Conference, a global technology education and information seminar.
According to a news release, PIX seeks to improve communication between Diebold and other financial industry providers to ensure easier implementation of new products and to create better solutions for customers. Partner benefits include special access to Diebold technology and experts, and an inside look at Diebold's newest products and those still in development.
PIX's primary function is to support the technical needs of Diebold's industry partners. Additionally, it provides equipment, software and documentation for development and certification efforts.
Tony Cappadora, vice president of marketing for switch software provider CSF International, Inc., said in the release that his company considers the PIX program "an invaluable tool for making informed decisions for the benefit of our mutual customers."
Tanya Packer, information systems manager at PEMCO Technology Services Inc., said, "It has helped to increase my knowledge of ATMs and has allowed me to develop relationships with other members that have already proven beneficial. I came with a few questions that were all answered and left with a great deal of information."
There are more than 80 PIX member organizations worldwide, including Concord EFS, Mosaic Software, NYCE Corporation, S2 Systems, ACI Worldwide and XP Systems, all of which attended this year's conference.
