PADERBORN, Germany -- China Postal Savings Henan (CPS), which installed 30 self-service terminals from Wincor Nixdorf in 2002, has ordered an additional 100 ProCash 2050 ATMs and six ProCash 3100 cash recycling systems.

According to a news release, the machines will be installed in 18 towns and cities between August and December. The cash-recycling systems will be added to five new self-service branches in Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan Province.
CPS is also switching its self-service network to the Wincor Nixdorf ProTopas software platform, according to the release. (See related story Wide, open (software) spaces)
The decision to use greater levels of self-service technology is a key element of CPS' marketing strategy, the release said.
It's the second major deal with a Chinese bank announced by the manufacturer this month. China Minsheng Bank, China's leading private bank with 16 main branches and 145 sub-branches, ordered 400 self-service systems earlier this month. Henan, 25.6. 2003. Die China Savings Henan (CPS) baut ihr SB-Netzwerk mit Geldautomaten von Wincor Nixdorf weiter aus. Bereits im letzten Jahr hatte die CPS die ersten 30 SB-Systeme von Wincor Nixdorf installiert. Der Folgeauftrag umfasst die Lieferung von 100 ProCash 2050 Geldausgabeautomaten und weiteren sechs Cash Recycling Systemen ProCash 3100.
Die Geldausgabeautomaten werden in der Zeit von August bis Dezember in 18 verschiedenen Städten installiert. Die Cash-Recycling-Systeme werden in fünf neuen SB-Filialen in Zhengzhou, der Hauptstadt der Provinz Henan, eingesetzt. Mit dem Rollout der neuen Hardware stellt die CPS gleichzeitig ihr SB-Netzwerk auf die Wincor Nixdorf Software Plattform ProTopas um.
Die Entscheidung künftig verstärkt SB-Technik einzusetzen, ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil der CPS Marketing Strategie, die zum Ziel hat, die Bank als innovativ, modern und kundenfreundlich zu positionieren.
