NORTH CANTON, Ohio -- Long Island Commercial Bank (LICB) is the first financial institution in the United States to have Diebold's Agilis 91x software running live on NYCE Corporation's EFT processing platform.
John Pinna, vice president and management information officer at LICB, said in a news release that LICB has Agilis 91x running on two Diebold advanced- function ATMs at its newest branch in Brooklyn, New York.
"Agilis software fits nicely into our strategy because one of our goals is to stay current with the latest and most advanced technology in order to maintain a competitive advantage in the financial industry," said Pinna in the release.
NYCE Corporation's support of Agilis 91x on Diebold's ix Series of ATMs was completed in April. NYCE also recently completed the certification necessary to support Agilis 91x on Diebold's Opteva family of ATMs, which the company unveiled in March.
Agilis 91x, one of the applications in Diebold's new Agilis family of Microsoft Windows-based ATM software, is a prepackaged application for use in ATMs that communicate to networks using the Diebold 911/912 message format.
It allows for the use of standard, widely available tools for day-to-day operations and maintenance. It also allows Agilis to be integrated into enterprise software distribution and network management systems that customers may already own and want to leverage further, according to the release.
