MELBOURNE, Australia - Bank of Queensland shares surged on Sept. 10 after it announced the completion of its $16 million ($10.5 million U.S.) purchase of independent ATM provider ATM Solutions Australasia. BoQ's purchase of the remaining 90 percent stake in ATM Solutions Australasia boosts the bank's national ATM fleet to more than 1,200 machines and delivers a strategic interstate footprint from which to grow the brand, according to a report in the Melbourne Herald Sun.
