FREMONT, Calif. - Tranax Technologies, Inc., has released its new Mini-Bank 2500, an ATM on a Windows XP embedded platform.
Built upon a flexible, PC platform that is XFS compliant, the Mini-Bank 2500 can be programmed to support value-added services, including prepaid telecom, check cashing, money transfer, loyalty programs, gift card/stored value card tracking and dispensing, point-of-sale ticketing, and on-site express ordering systems.
With an optional multi-function topper, a bill acceptor, ticket printer and card dispenser can be added to expand service capabilities and payment options.
"The revenue-generating services that are available on the new Mini-Bank 2500 will help optimize my business across the board," said Jenny Lee of Jenny's Mini-Mart in Hawaii, in a news release. "My customers like the convenience of pre-paid telecom and check cashing. Since these services are primarily self-serve and require little effort from store staff, my team will be able to focus on other important customer and business issues."
The 10.4-inch SVGA color screen combined with the 20-gigabyte hard disk accommodates a higher level of graphic display providing optimum consumer visibility and effectiveness. Ethernet LAN with TCP/IP is standard and enables high speed connectivity.
Both Triple DES and ADA compliant, the Mini-Bank 2500's Encrypting PIN Pad (EPP) and UL 291 business hour safe make the ATM secure, according to the release.
Tranax is targeting community banks and credit unions with the Mini-Bank 2500, which it said would serve as an excellent entry-level, lobby-based ATM for those institutions.
