NCR to service Euronet ATMs

LONDON - NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR) has signed a multiyear contract with Euronet Worldwide to provide hardware maintenance and support services for 1,500 ATMs -- including 625 Diebold units -- situated in Poland, Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic and Egypt.

According to a news release, the ATMs represent more than 80 percent of Euronet's installed base in Europe.

"Our goal was to find a maintenance partner who could enhance the performance and availability of our self-service channel while achieving a reduction in maintenance costs," said Euronet Worldwide Chief Operation Officer Daniel Henry in the release.
