OMAHA, Neb.-Baldwin Hackett & Meeks, Inc. (BHMI), a specialist in the development of fault-tolerant software solutions, announced at the 2003 BAI Retail Delivery Conference & Expo, held Nov. 19-20 in New Orleans, that Nebraska Electronic Transfer System (NetWorks) has chosen Concourse-ESP for its transaction viewing, disputes processing and ATM cash positioning needs.
According to a news release, NetWorks is an electronic transaction processor offering a full range of electronic funds transfer services for more than 350 financial institutions. The company routes more than 5 million transactions a month from locations around the globe and manages approximately 2,000 ATMs.
"NetWorks' goal is to provide the most accurate and timely information to our clients," company President Philip Jossi said in the release. "We also want to implement a system that will efficiently expedite the disputes management process for our clients. … We found the Concourse-ESP best suited NetWorks' current and future requirements."
NetWorks currently authorizes electronic transactions via its CONNEX system licensed from eFunds Corporation. Concourse-ESP captures transaction data from CONNEX log files and places it into an operational data store (ODS) within seconds of transactional activity. Using the ODS, NetWorks and its clients have the ability to access near real-time transaction data via a browser-based user interface, quickly resolve disputes using an automated management process and monitor ATM cash positions anytime throughout the day.
