LONG BEACH, Miss. - Triton has signed an agreement with TRM, making TRM the nationwide service provider for Triton's entire ATM product line.
According to a news release, the partnership will provide Triton ATM owners and operators with a comprehensive, single-source installation and maintenance solution with 24/7 service availability.
Through this agreement with TRM, Triton will expand the scope of its service channel by offering additional installation and service programs for Triton ATM owners. Maintenance service contracts may include round-the-clock telephone support and emergency dispatch of Triton-trained technicians to the ATM site, according to the release.
Program prices will vary according to the number of ATMs covered, the geographic distribution of the ATM fleet, and the levels of service that owners select.
TRM is certified to service all Triton ATM models including the new RL5000 lobby and FT5000 through-the-wall Windows-based ATMs designed especially for financial institutions. Some industry watchers had raised the question of whether Triton had an adequate service infrastructure to support the new machines when it introduced them earlier this year.
"ATM operators -- particularly at financial institutions -- place a premium on the availability of responsive, cost-effective support services," said Triton President Brian Kett. "Our relationship with TRM, a nationally recognized leader in ATM operations and support, combined with our regional service providers, delivers a complete service solution for our customers."
TRM Chairman Daniel Cohen said in the release, "Triton's U.S. installed base of more than 60,000 ATMs nationwide constitutes an important opportunity for TRM service programs. TRM's ability to offer these customers comprehensive services across the entire economic life of the ATM, beginning with installation, should make Triton an even more attractive option for financial institutions and retailers."
