CLEVELAND and BEAVERTON, Ore. - Cleveland-based KeyCorp (NYSE: KEY) has been named a service partner to the Credit Union Association of Oregon (CUAO), a nonprofit professional trade association representing Oregon's state- and federally-chartered credit unions. CUAO has endorsed Key's agent bank services.
Financial institutions that utilize Key's agent bank services can offer their members surcharge-free access to Key's network of some 2,200 ATMs across the country.
Participants can contract for member access to the entire ATM network, including 716 located in ARCO am/pm retail locations along the West Coast and approximately 900 SouthTrust ATMs in Southern states, or limit access to certain states or geographic regions. Participants pay a fee to Key for the ATM access.

"This will significantly increase convenience to our members," said Sallie Sylvester, senior vice president of Credit Union Services at CUAO, in a news release. "While our member credit unions may be headquartered here in Oregon, many of their individual members live and travel in other states and this program allows them fee-free access to their money wherever Key has an ATM."
Mona Burns, regional sales manager at Key, said in the release, "Credit unions can greatly enhance service levels to their members without the cost of building their own ATM infrastructure, and at a very reasonable cost. It is a way for local credit unions to provide nationwide service."
Key offers national and regional ATM access to financial institutions in California, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Maine, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington, representing more than two million cardholders. Agent bank services also are available in Alaska, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Utah and Vermont, according to the release.
