FT. WASHINGTON, Pa - Genpass Technologies, the second largest ATM network processor and ATM driver in the U.S. and owner and operator of the MoneyPasss, MoneyMaker, and Money Belt networks, recently picked up two industry endorsements.
The New York Bankers Service Corporation (NYBSCO), a wholly owned subsidiary of the New York Bankers Association (NYBA), selected Genpass as its endorsed EFT processor. According to a news release, Genpass is the only EFT processor with this designation from the NYBA.
The NYBA represents the state's commercial banking industry, which is comprised of 10 of the top 20 commercial banks in the nation, as well as regional banks and more than 110 community banks. Its membership, in total, has aggregate assets in excess of $1 trillion dollars.
"Genpass' customer service orientation and commitment to the newest technology fits well with our own service and product orientation," said Michael P. Smith, the association's president, in the release.
In addition, Genpass Technologies has signed a preferred business partnership agreement with core data processor re:Member Data Services (RDS) that delivers advanced EFT service alternatives to RDS clients at competitive prices.
Under the terms of the referral-based partnership agreement, RDS will begin promoting the company's EFT services as an option to its more than 100 clients. According to a news release, RDS clients include some of the largest credit unions in the United States.
"This partnership was formed as a means of bringing added savings and more advanced product features to the RDS customer base," said Ike Eikelberner, RDS president and chief operating officer. "After conducting ongoing discussions with Genpass and meeting with staff members ranging from senior management to front-line support, RDS has determined that Genpass will deliver superior service, advanced technology and a pricing model that will reduce our customers' EFT expenses."
