FRISCO, Texas - Fujitsu Transaction Solutions has enlisted Seibold Security as its exclusive business partner for Fujitsu's Series 8000 and Series 7000 ATMs in the
upstate New York area.
According to a news release, Rochester, N.Y.-based Seibold will sell, install, service and upgrade Fujitsu's ATMs, targeting mid-size financial institutions.
"Late last year, we ended a previous business partnership when the company was acquired by a third party. There are hundreds of Fujitsu ATMs in upstate New York, and we needed a solid replacement," said Tony Scangarello, Fujitsu's sales manager. "Seibold, at the same time, was seeking to partner with an ATM manufacturer -- the timing was perfect."
Seibold designs, sells and services electronic security management systems for a variety of markets that include financial institutions.
"We've been in the security business for more than 25 years," said Vic Hill, Seibold's senior vice president. "We saw an opportunity to re-enter the ATM realm by teaming with a company known for delivering high-quality, reliable products and services."
