HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. - Paragon Application Systems, a provider of ATM/EFT/POS testing software, has appointed Steven Lund its new director of Business Development.
According to a news release, Lund has more than 20 years of senior sales and management experience, including a stint as vice president of Worldwide Sales for Nexus Software. He has also held senior sales positions with De La Rue Cash Systems, Wincor AutoTell and other companies serving the retail financial industry.
Lund's initial responsibilities will include increasing the corporation's direct sales efforts, as well as building a network of indirect sales channels.
"Our strong customer base and comprehensive suite of products coupled with Steve's proven track record of identifying and penetrating new markets will accelerate our expansion outside of North America," said Gary Kirk, Paragon's president.
Paragon tools configure ATMs for graphics and audio, simulate ATMs including Triple DES and fault testing, and perform regression testing for ATM and ISO 8583 transactions.
Other Paragon products measure and test system capacity and performance, and provide Web-enabled QA, regression, and development testing to remote users worldwide.
Since 1998, Paragon has been a member of the Diebold Partner Information Xchange and an NCR Strategic Business Partner, and counts both Diebold and NCR among its customers. Paragon has been a member of the Interactive Financial eXchange (IFX) Forum since 2002 and the MasterCard Vendor Program (MVP) since 2003.
