NEW YORK - Yonkers police on April 25 released a photo of the man suspected of beating to death a Brinks ATM serviceman and stuffing the battered body in the trunk of his car.
Police identified the suspect as Paul Douglas, 32, of Brooklyn.
Milton Moran Jr., 29, who serviced ATMs, was found brutally beaten in his car in a Yonkers parking lot on April 22, shortly after having serviced a Citibank ATM at the location.
Cops made the discovery after a witness who saw a body being placed into a black Toyota called them, according to a report in the New York Post.
A black Lexus owned by a Brooklyn resident had been seen driving away from where the body had been found on Central Park Avenue.
Police said money was the motive for the killing of Moran, who worked for Brinks for seven years.
According to earlier published reports, Moran had been bound and gagged. Moran's handgun was apparently taken by his killer; his empty holster was found in the car.
