PARIS and STOCKHOLM - BANQIT AB and systems integrator Bull have signed a long term sales agreement under which Bull will promote, sell, maintain and integrate BANQIT's self service products, including ATMs, through its local organizations.
According to a news release, the initial geographical scope of this agreement is Eastern and Central Europe, Africa and other selected countries. Bull, which designs and develops servers and software for an open environment, has maintained a wide sales network in these countries.
Through the sales alliance, Bull will increase its presence in the payment systems market by providing a full range of products including ATMs, point-of-sale terminals, smart cards and the Monedia Card Transaction processing platform.
BANQIT will benefit from Bull's strong presence in Europe and Africa.
