ANZ renews ATM service contract with NCR

Australian IT: NCR has won a $28.4 million (U.S. $20 million) managed services deal with the ANZ Bank to service, support and maintain up to 2,000 ATMs. The four-year contract includes all the bank's ATMs in Australia and New Zealand and covers all routine monitoring and maintenance, from tracking performance and repairing problem machines to ensuring ATMs are filled with cash. This is the second time NCR has won ANZ's ATM business. The company signed a four-year deal in 2000, then recently renewed that contract for another four years. ANZ is NCR's largest Australian customer.
