Brookfield, Wis. - Fiserv, Inc.'s (Nasdaq: FISV) Fiserv EFT/CNS business unit has reached an agreement with Sharenet, Inc. of Liverpool, N.Y., to operate its 61 ATMs.
Sharenet is a cooperative endeavor of 28 credit unions in the Syracuse and Utica/Rome areas of New York that provides unlimited, surcharge-free member access to ATMs.
Joseph Mariani, chairman of the board for Sharenet,said, "The flexibility and range of capabilities, services and operational options offered by Fiserv will give us the opportunity to significantly expand our ATM service suite and directly address the needs of our credit union clients and their members."
Under the agreement, Sharenet credit unions will select their own transaction processors.
