BROOKINGS, S.D. - The sixth annual ATMIA Conference East will be held next year in Miami on Feb. 14-15 at the Fontaineleau Hilton Resort.
The theme of the conference is "Next Generation ATMs in the USA."
The conference will be geared toward two tracks - ISOs and FIs - this year. ATM and payments industry leaders will have a variety of program choices, according to a press release.
Presentations about successful, innovative and competitive ATM companies will be held for ISOs, financial institutions and other related organizations. And Visa is offering a one-day, pre-conference key management workshop, which will focus on the management of cryptographic keys used in ATMs, PIN pads, cash dispensers and hardware security modules.
A pre-conference payroll- and debit-card workshop is also planned. The workshop will explore how the payroll- and debit-card phenomena will affect companies within the ATM marketplace.
The keynote speaker will be Keni Thomas, whose personal story was the inspiration for the movie, "Blackhawk Down."
The ATM Industry Association, which hosts the conference, is offering discounts to ATMIA and small business members who register for the full conference. And those who attend the Visa workshop, as well as the full conference, also will receive an additional $100 discount.
