LAS VEGAS - Nexus Software Inc. announced support for ArcaTech Systems' Arca8000 currency recycling device integrated with Nexus Involve Advanced Branch middleware. The companies will demonstrate the device at the BAI Retail Delivery Conference Nov. 16-19, according to a news release.
The Arca8000 Currency Recycler is a high-volume, large capacity "bills in-bills out" recycler. Integrated with Nexus middleware, it provides a branch-oriented cash management, audit and operations environment that handles all cash operations through devices and cash drawers, and provides support for more than 180 branch banking devices.
"Financial institutions are looking for ways to maximize their tellers' focus on customers and minimize the amount of time they have to spend on repetitive, manual processes," said Aubrey Meador, vice president of ArcaTech Systems. "Working with Nexus' INvolve middleware, our cash recyclers become an integrated part of branch operations. Handling cash gets simpler,Arc allowing branch managers and tellers to spend time on more important tasks."
