LAS VEGAS - Diebold Inc. (NYSE: DBD) will now be integrating the Quality Assurance Suite, Image Inspector, from Carreker Corp. (Nasdaq: CANI), into its Opteva ATMs, according to a news release. The Opteva ATMs offer envelope-free deposits. Quality Assurance is a provider of consulting and technology solutions for the financial services industry.
Diebold will integrate Carreker's Courtesy Amount Recognition, Legal Amount Recognition and Image Inspection technology with its image technology. The integration will allow check images captured at the ATMs to be reviewed for image quality to ensure the best image is transmitted to the financial institution, the release added.
An electronic check-imaging solution for ATMs, Diebold's ImageWay is an open, end-to-end deposit automation solution, developed for the self-service delivery channel.
