The ATM Industry Association is offering a $100 Early Bird Discount to those who register before Jan. 13 for the sixth annual ATMIA Conference East 2005, "Next Generation ATMs in the USA," which will take place Feb.14-16 at Miami's Fontainebleau Hilton Resort.
According to a news release, the event will open with a powerful motivational message from keynote speaker Keni Thomas, who will share an inspiring story of leadership and teamwork in adversity. The successful movie "Blackhawk Down" is based on the harrowing experience and bravery of Sgt. Thomas and his fellow Rangers.
ATMIA for the first time will present two diferent tracks, providing twice the amount of information with double the choices. One track will be geared toward ISOs, while the other will be geared toward financial institutions.
Visa is offering a one-day pre-conference Key Management Workshop on Feb. 14 that will provide information benchmarked for the payments industry on the management of cryptographic keys used in ATMs, PIN pads, cash dispensers and hardware security modules. Cost is $495; those attending the Visa workshop and the ATMIA full conference will receive an additional $100 discount on their ATMIA registration.
