NEW YORK - Dover Corporation, the parent of Triton, earned $412.8 million, or $2.02 earnings per share, in 2004, compared to net earnings of $292.9 million or $1.44 EPS in 2003.
Last year's results included $3.6 million or 2 cents EPS from discontinued operations, compared to $7.7 million or 4 cents EPS from discontinued operations in 2003.
Dover Industries, the segment that includes Triton, reported earnings of $138.3 million in 2004, up 14 percent from $121.2 million in 2003.
According to a news release, Triton was one of the top earners for the Industries segment, with "record sales driven by new products and market expansion."
