LINCOLN, Neb. - Information Technology Inc., a subsidiary of Fiserv Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV), and FSV Payment Systems Inc. (FSV) teamed to offer FSV's Paycheck Plus! PDQ (Payment Delivered Quick) and Flexgift, according to a news release.
PDQ is a stored-value payroll card solution. Flexgift is a turnkey gift card program for consumer and commercial banking customers.
With PDQ, business customers can quickly install an e-payroll solution using payroll debit cards that employees can use immediately for financial needs. Flexgift carries the VISA brand and can be used to get cash at ATMs.
"More than one in four people do not have a bank account or enough access to other financial services," said FSV President Eric Miller. "There's a growing movement among employers to provide a payroll solution to employees who do not have checking accounts or direct deposit. PDQ satisfies that need."
Flexgift, Miller added, is an open-network gift card. "It attracts new customers via incentives and provides commercial customers with incentive and reward programs for their employees," he said. "And financial institutions can generate additional revenue in the process, while taking their customer service to the next level."
